Student Spotlight: Royce Wallace
This week's student spotlight is Royce Wallace, a 12th grader at Hughes Springs High School. He is the son of Ricky and Melissa Wallace.
Royce is actively involved with his church, First Baptist, and loves to help with the children's department.
Royce's favorite subject is math; he says it is like a scavenger hunt or a puzzle and it makes your mind work.
Royce says he doesn't think he could pick on single teacher that has made an outstanding impact on him, but that all of his teachers have made an important impact on his life.
He says the best thing about being a student at Hughes Springs ISD is that is it small and you get to develop closer relationships with your classmates.
When Royce graduates in May he plans to attend college.
Royce was nominated by Mrs. Heather McGregor who says, "Royce represents the Mustang Spirit through his polite confidence and hard work. I always enjoy being around students who are comfortable with who they are, and this is Royce! We are proud of the person he has grown to be and look forward to what he will accomplish."
Congratulations, Royce! We are so proud to have you as a student at Hughes Springs ISD!
